Pier House in Kinsale

Happened upon a wonderful B&B. Gated. Small landscaped enclosure with waterfall, outdoor seating area with BBQ. Ann welcomed us at the door and we recognized each other from having passed each other on the street earlier; she'd been walking her dog and I'd snapped a quick picture of the two of them.

Ann is open and friendly; I felt very comfortable. The Pier House is modern/contemporary and creative/artistic in a gallery-ish way, being cool and awakening/interesting, and not at all sterile. The room we stayed in had it's own balcony with table and two chairs outside; very pretty view. Gorgeous hot shower. Suggest you bring a scented candle, 'though, as it's a little musty.

Another room we saw was even prettier, but a little more expensive, and didn't have the balcony or view.

Wonderful breakfast; very nice service. You'll enjoy your stay here.
