Clifftop Walks with Views over Donegal Bay
We took a break in Bundoran en route from Northern Ireland to Galway. Staying for about 3 hours at this popular Donegal Bay resort, please don't expect me to make deep comments about it!
I can recommend however one thing -- the clifftop walk. I especially liked the way the walk was paved and made accessible to wheelchair users. The views across Donegal Bay are wonderful and Bundoran has a breathaking mountain backdrop. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer and find out more about Bundoran and the nearby places.
This picture shows Bundoran's quay area, a small portion of the clifftop walk and the table-like mountains in the background
Bundoran has an excellent blue flag beach with the Slieve League mountains looming in the hazy backround.
