Cozy and Friendly Hotel
A friend and I called the day of (on a Saturday!) on our way to town and they had a room for us! We got there and it was very nice! Bustling and in the heart of the Diamond, it was near restaurants, pubs and shopping. That night there was some sort of wedding or party and it was so nice to see the locals having a good time in traditional Irish fashion. The breakfast was complimentary and just okay. I would recommend eating elsewhere. Rooms were clean and quiet. I would stay here again!

Walk out the front doors and you're in the heart of Donegal town.

A FRIENDLY WELCOME
We had a lovely stay at the Abbey Hotel, Donegal. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A very comfortable hotel with real homely Irish food.

located in the center of donegal
the abbey hotel is located on the diamond in central donegal. all of the places of interest in donegal are a short walk from the hotel. the abbey has a nice restaurant and bar. the rooms were spacious and clean. i would highly recommend this hotel to visitors to donegal.
