Spend the night in a train station

This comes from their website. Corcreggan Mill Hostel is set in a natural hollow near the sea and in sight of Tory Island. It is 3km SW of Dunfanaghy village on the N56 by the shore of New Lake. The whole property occupies what was once an important pre-Celtic site and has 175 recorded archaeological sites within 8km. The hostel is renowned for its tranquillity, warm hospitality and comfort.
The Railway Station was created in 1996 using recycled materials to house a 120 year old mahogany railway carriage which has been totally rebuilt to provide five unique bedrooms. To the rear is a very warm and comfortable sitting room with open turf fire, a dining room and a kitchen decorated and equipped in a traditional style, all with central heating. It also has three showers and a utility room.

Unique Quality: It’s an unique location it’s an old train carriage that stands in front of a watermill. The room that we had had a small sink and 4 bunkbeds. It’s comfortable and it’s a good place to spend the night. They have accommodation in the mill and in the carriage.
