Magheraclogher Beach, low tide.

'Ostan Gweedore Hotel is situated on this beach, with a leisure complex. There are plenty of hotels, Guest houses and B+B's in the area.

GAELTACHT
This is in the heart of the Gaeltacht, (Irish speaking areas). You will hear the locals chatting away in the Gaelic language in any shop, bar or restaurant. You may even pick up afew phrases on your visit.

Donegal has lots of Gaeltacht areas, Gweedore, Glen Clom Cille, Fintown, The Rosses, Falcarragh and Downings. You may notice the signposts changing from English to Irish, this is one way of knowing you're in a Gaeltacht area.
