Once again, I didn't stay at this hostel, but one of my friend did it and I went to see her there, so I hung out a while with other people in the hostel and got the chance to see how it was like. There was a great international atmosphere, it was clean, staff was friendly, etc. All the people I talked to liked the place. The prices are similar to the other Dublin hostels, and include continental breakfast. Check out the website for more details.
As for the other two hostels I included in my tips, Avalon House is situated in the city centre, five minutes walking to Temple Bar and Grafton St. Leave a Comment Theme: HostelPrice: US$20-40 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averagePhone: +353 (0)1 4750001Directions: From O'Connell Bridge, take Westmoreland St., turn right on Dame St., and then left on South Great Georges St. Walk up this street. You'll see that the name changes for Aungier St. after a couple of minutes of walking. Avalon House will be on your right.Website: www.avalon-house.ie

Having stayed in quite a few hostels, i would say this isn't much different from the norm... but it is clean and friendly, and you do get free internet and a free breakfast - which i slept through today, so can't tell you how good it is! There's a decent tv room with good sofas, and another video room downstairs, and a huge kitchen... We're in a twin room, and it is petite, but cozy enough... only thing i think it misses is somewhere to put your stuff... there are a few hooks, but there's not really a real place to put your bags. But i guess that's not a huge deal for the rest of the stuff you get... like your own sink... We're not right in Temple Bar, which is what i would call central to a visit to Dublin, but it is well located, and only a short walk to practically anything. The other bonus is there's a bus direct from the airport that drops you off just over the street, for only 1.80 Euros each way... not bad at all!!! (That's 16A for ref and goes right down O'Connel St too!)
