Great staff, decent location
Service was amazing. We got in early the first day, before check-in, and they let us store our luggage until later. Also, we had a very early flight out the day we left, and they had breakfast (with coffee!) ready for us at 4am so we could eat before we left. I've never experienced such great service.
Our room was very cute- we stayed in the suite on the top floor. The bed was a little stiff for me, but there was a nice TV, and the room overall was comfortable.
The location was good. It was further outside of the city center than we had expected, but it ended up working out well. There is a bus stop right out front. Also, the city center was very noisy at night- we were glad we were a little bit outside, so we had some quiet to sleep.
The Irish breakfast they served was amazing. They had a computer with free Internet for guests to use, and a free daily newspaper. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Not so great hotel on the north side
Hmm, I can't say that I really enjoyed my three night stay in this hotel. It's quite far away from the center, somehow messy and service wasn't that friendly. Has a 3-star rating, but not worth it. Furniture and bathroom needed renovating. The breakfast was good, though.

We would choose this hotel again. Very friendly staff, not far from the center of town.

Think i know where that Lodge is, at least the pic on the website reminds me of building on North Circular Rd in which case its about 20 mins walk from there to O'Connell St which is the northern end of the city centre. I'd guess its about the same distance from there, or maybe a little less to the nearest gate to the Phoenix park. PLenty of buses running from there to the city also.
