My friend and I booked a one bedroom apartment but when we showed up it was a two bedroom!! We were so thrilled because we had no idea how we were going to determine who got the couch. With a full kitchen, dining area and living room we couldn't have asked for more. It was wonderful to leave the pub after last call and invite all of our friends back to our flat for a drink. We even had a freind stay over on the pull out couch a few times.
Unique Quality: There is a 24 hour concierge who was always very helpful. I borrowed a hair dryer from them for the week at no cost. The kitchen is equipt with a dishwasher and a clothes washer...too good. No coffee maker which was too bad but there was a kettle and tea pot so that was good enough. The shower confused me a little. It was set up with an electric knob that I think heated up the water. Also there was an emmersion switch in the hall that turned on the hot water tank...I think. As I said I was a little confused by it.
Directions: Across the street from Christ Church
I'm trying to help my parents find accommodation in Dublin, and came across a place called Christchurch Hall apartments. Expedia says it's right beside Christchurch Cathedral...The last time we were in Dublin, we stayed at Jury's Inn Christchurch, and loved the location! I am wondering if anyone has ever stayed here, or heard anything about this place?
I believe this is a nice area stayed in jurys many times
I'm aware of those apartments. The location is, indeed, very hand with just a short walk along Dame Street to Temple Bar on the left, Trinity College straight ahead and the Grafton Street area on the right. I believe they're also quite new so I would imagine that the standard would be quite decent.
