Fifty Five Park Avenue

I'm not sure how or why this place was selected. Probably because of the name - I've been to the Isle of Iona and it appealed.
The couple that owned Iona House were very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful greeting to Ireland.
After a long flight - well 2 - at that time we couldn't fly directly to Ireland, we had to fly to London Heathrowe, and change planes to fly to Dublin - we were tired and glad to crash.
Our twin bedded room was quite nice, not 5 Star but that wasn't what we were paying for.
The beds were comfortable, and we had a nice little walk onto a street with shops.
The cooked breakfast was to order in the morning, and again served by very friendly staff.
I'd recommend Iona House to anyone.

Unique Quality: It was the owners and their staff who made Iona House special.
I'm really not sure if it was out of the way or not.
