souvineirs

by gaulinlin

This may seem like a silly question, but my grandaughter has a long list of gifts she wants to buy for just about everyone she knows. Can someone give me an idea where to shop for inexpensive souveniors?? And yes, we will be buying other items besides the token mementos. Thanks in advance for your tips and your time.

I think the name of the store I bought my souvenirs at is Carroll's, there are multiple locations in Dublin and the prices are reasonable provided you are looking for the usual souvenirs-hats, tshirts, key chains, coffee mugs, etc.

I think we went to Carrol's also....close by to Trinity. I seem to recall several other similar stores close by. You could spend a little or a lot.....Karl

Travel Tips for Dublin

Guinness!

by Mahieu

If you didn't know Guinness before you arrived, you'll certainly know it before you leave the city. Guinness is just everywhere. First of all the beer itself of course, but also flags, T-shirts, little statues, and everything you can imagine is available with a Guinness sign on it.
Try the Guinness beer, it's really delicious! I don't like to drink it at home, but I certainly do in Dublin! Cheers!

THE BANK OF IRELAND can give you a Passport to Cash...

Of course you can get this passport also at the Tourist Information Office or at your hotel.

It is not bigger dan a credit card but opened it happens to be a little map with dots all over it showing the places in Dublin centre and all over Ireland where you can get Cash...

Always nice to know where a cash-machine is.......have a look here.......
