Green Isle Hotel
Stayed here on the 28th Feb 09....Worst night of my life, the noise from the club was a disgrace, I had people screaming, shouting and fighting outside my room until 4am! The place was full of young scumbags to say the least! Finally when i got to sleep, the smoke alarm went off and woke me up, i also paid for breakfast with the room but had to give another 20 when it arrived, costing myself and boyfriend 40 euro for a very plain breakfast. Would tell everyone not to stay here, its a half way house that rips you off!

Dublin Airport to Lynch Green Isle Hotel at Newland Cross- by bus?
Can anyone tell me if is it possible to get from the airport to Newlands Cross (west of the city) by bus or train and what connections we would need to take? If it's too difficult, then we will look at taking a taxi or renting a car.

Hi,
There is no direct bus from the airport to Newlands Cross as far as I'm aware.You would have to get a bus into the city centre and get another bus from there. I think they leave from Aston Quay just across O'Connell bridge on the South Side. Try www.DublinBus.ie to see what buses pass near it.
Have you asked the hotel if they do pick ups? Probably unlikely but ya never know.
You would probably be better getting a taxi but it will cost you a few Euro.

Although you can get the bus there, it necessitates at least one bus change. I would recommend that you look at grabbing a taxi, as you will be juggling luggage and fighting jet lag. A taxi will definitely be cheaper than renting a car and a lot easier on your nerves.
