Very good service, good-sized room and shared bath was very nice. Also have rooms with private baths. Family's home but they really kept their distance.
The German college student I met there stayed a week & liked it very much. I only stayed one nite & was very glad to make friends with her, over breakfast (skimpy), in the dining room.
Update: their prices have gone up since I went in 2005, so it might be higher than $80 USA, depending on the rate of exchange, of course. Look at their web site, which has nice photos, by the way.
Unique Quality: Sky light in the bathroom! Comfortable room & bed, with my own large vanity area in the room.
The phone is a pay phone & it is costly @ per minute!
Directions: Close to Dublin proper, at corner of Calderwood Road. two local buses go there, number 41 and 123. They have a place to park your car, also, they say. I went by bus.
