Best hostel ever

Very clean and excellent staff. There's free internet to whom has laptop.
They offer a breakfast of toasts and coffee/tea - I think it's great, 'cause it's not usual for a hostel. Also for young and not too young people.
It's very close to the city center (O'Connell st. and Temple Bar) - by foot!
A great hostel.

very friendly place

What I liked the most about the place was the friendliness of the staff at the reception. We walked in at 8am, our room wasn't ready of course, but the girl said we could sneak in for a free breakfast. (toast, coffee, orange juice and marmelade)
The rooms and bathrooms were clean.
They organize all sorts of activities like morning jogging at 7am (!), a free walk through Dublin, movie nights, ...
Location is ok, not far from O'Connell Street, (north bank of the Liffey) and behind the Custom's House.
It's a few meters away from the Busaras station (main bus station), but unfortunately also at the back of the train/Dart station, so be prepared to hear trains every 5 min if your room is at the back.

I'd definitely stay there again!

Unique Quality: Friendliness
Location if you need transport to other places in Dublin

Central and clean

I liked my staying there because the hostel is very central, clean, good security.

Unique Quality: In Talbot Street there are 3 internet points with very good prices. About 1 euro per hour..

Confortable en-suit rooms

I have only stayed for a night because my short trip was for a couple of days in Dublin.

However, the hostel offers great posibilities and good amenities and it is very close to the center, 10 min walking.
Also, very very close to Conolly Rail Station, 5 minutes where I catch up a train towards the South coas of Dublin... Perfect emplacement!

Unique Quality: I have booked a bed in a 6 bedroom which have the bathroom inside the room.
The bed was very good condition and the room was clean and warm.

I saw that they have other facilities as kitchen, living room with telly and pool, a lunch room along with a small restaurant.

The price of the room ( 22 euro) also included a simple breakfast -- coffee or tea with a couple of toasts. Although, paying extra money you can have whatever you fancy.

Only for Convenience

I wasn't overly impressed with this hostel. It was clean...sort of. Actually, I don't think how much they cleaned it would have mattered since it was such an old building. But the good thing was that it was right mext door to the Busaras station and therefore easily accessible. Oh, and the showers were great. The best pressure I had on the entire trip.

Hostels

There are many hostels in Dublin for the budget travellers.
I stayed at Jacobs Inn and it's right near the Busaras (the central bus station) if you get to Dublin late at night. It's a clean, nice hostel but the kitchen there is quite bad..

Jacob's Inn

IEP 8.50 to 11.50

Unique Quality: for the price it's amazing... everything is brilliantly clean. the rooms are all en-suite and provided with linens. also there is a cafe on site. it has a lift and four or five floors. i realise that the number of floors isn't much of a qualification, but it does mean that it's alot easier to get a bed.

Hi Vesna, I stayed at Jacobs inn a couple of years ago.
It's cheap, clean, central & friendly. Take a look at www.hosteldublin.com & see what you think.
