Cheap, Basic Accomodations

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 30, 2010

I stayed at this hostel at the end of a week long tour of Western Ireland. This hostel was both the departure hostel and the drop off point before and after the tour. As a result, the hostel is very busy so book early. The hostel catered to the younger crowd (early 20's). It is a basic hostel. The shared bathrooms are clean, included breakfast is basic and the mattreses could be replaced. Like I said, a basic hostel.

Unique Quality: Free internet.

Central Hostel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

This place served its purpose. It was a cheap place to stay. Sadly I've become too aware of what I give up to stay in a hostel. I miss being able to read myself to sleep. I miss having a bathroom to my self. Etc. But I would recommend this place to others. It is very clean. Friendly. And cheap.

Next Best Place To Stay

by written on December 5, 2002

Both Kinlays that I have stayed in have been good. They're clean, if not somewhat sterile, and always in the middle of things.

Unique Quality: You get your money's worth here. It's right on one of the main drags and next door to Christchurch. It's a huge place, but pleasant. The staff is helpful.

Directions: Next door to Christchurch
