Ideal location
The Mercer is a decent hotel at the back of St Stephens Green Shopping Centre.
The receptionists were very helpful and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.
We had a few niggles which were sorted immediately so can not fault maintenance/housekeeping at all.
The breakfast was average but the Guinness was exceptional! (Although these were not sampled together I hasten to add!)
Unique Quality: The location of this hotel is ideal if you are going to be shopping in the St Stephens Green shopping centre or Grafton Street.
There is a little square very close to the hotel which has a few eating / drinking establishments.

Mercer Hotel
Although there is nothing special about the Mercer Street location, Grafton St. and St. Stephen's Green are just around the corner. Trinity College is just a short walk.
There is nothing notable about the exterior of the hotel but the rooms are rather large by European standards. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. I will stay here again.
The photo is of my room - it was 99.00 Euro and included breakfast.
