Reasonable Dublin Accomodation
For very reasonable accomodation in Dublin (and convenient too)
try the Mount Eccles Hostel. Just off O'Connell Street/Parnell intersection
If you are coming from the airport, just a 5 minute walk from the first Air Coach stop on O'Connell St.

We stayed in one of their apartments (one large room with kitchen area, and loft bedroom) for abour 95 to 100Euro per night.
Saved a lot on food by eating in.

Mount Eccles Court
Very nice hostel. Sleeping on a room with 18 beds; meeting people from countries all over the world.
Breakfast is rather simple, but the location of this hostel is good; it's in a street parallel on O'connel Street.
If you don't stick to the rules of the hostel, you can go!

Good, clean and cheap
We paid 50 euro per room per nacht (with an extra 3 for a weekend night)
The rooms are spartan but very clean. No towels - common bathroom
Forbidden to smoke anywhere, except in the lounge where you can have free tea or coffee during weekends
A five minute walk from the Liffey
