The beds were just a place to crash. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean. I didnt meet too many cool people there. A lot of budget minded travelers. The location of the Hostel was great though for seeing the sights in Dublin.

Unique Quality: Nice Kitchen.
Good Lock Up.
Plush Fluffy Towel.
Nice View of Customs House outside.
Fairly Close to City Centre, North of Liffey.

Too Noisy For Me

by written on June 12, 2004

This hostel was built for and by the Paddywagon Tour Company. Paddywagon Tours are aimed at young, college aged kids that like to party, stay out late, and drink. Which is fine if you want to do that as well, but if those things don't interest you then staying in close proximity to the groups can be very annoying. There were many times when I was awakened, ran out of the common room, and ostracized for not being a joiner. While the hostel isn't bad, it probably isn't really for the quieter, older crowd.
