Irish bars in Ireland are absolutely different from Irish bar in anywhere else in the world
hmmmm...at least much different from Irish bars in Bangkok anyway :P
I love the atmosphere in real Irish bars
no TV
no music
no food
no yuppies
just Guinness

We are going to be staying at the Travelodge-Dublin airport and need directions on how to get there via public transportation from the airport. Their site says bus route 41, but we don’t know where to get off…If someone could advise me I would greatly appreciate it!
As it comes out of the airport the bus should turn left and head north towards Dundalk and Belfast rather than towards Dublin. Make sure you get the bus that's not heading back to Dublin centre! The Travelodge is really close by - barely a couple of kilometres in fact, and is located by the Pinnock Hill roundabout which you can't miss as it has signs on it saying 'Pinnock Hill Roundabout'. Just to be sure, ask the driver to tell you arrive there
The Travelodge is located adjacent to the N1 road opposite the village (well, now more of a town) of Swords. In Swords you will find a small High Street with a few shops, bars and eateries. At the far end of the street there is a fairly picturesque castle. Also on the edge of Swords is a reasoble shopping mall.

I am ashok, coming from India to attend conference at NUI Maynooth. After walking around the dublin city centre on 19th Evening, I am planning to take a hotel room near Airport. I have to take a flight at 6.45 am on 20th July 2006 from Dublin airport. If I stay in any Swards hotel (I think 2 km from the airport), is it possible to get any transport at 4.00 am to go airport. or Is it good to walk at 4.00 am to airport from the hotel.
I will be gratefulful to you if you could give sime information

You can book taxis in Swords and the hotel reception should be able to help you on that. Although Swords is quite close to the airport, it's a little too far to walk.
