Came across Waterloo by accident, we were driving past and decided to pull in. The lady on the reception gave us a good deal and she included breakfast. It was a real treat, lots of food to choose from and really good coffee and nice friendly service, we had stayed in other places in Ireland but in larger hotels and breakfast wasn't included so this was a great, I know from now on to book a hotel that includes breakfast. Our room was lovely, nice and bright, very comfortable bed, wireless worked. Great to have free car parking, they allowed us to leave it there for a while after we checked out so that we could take the Dublin bus tour. I would recomment Waterloo Lodge, the staff were lovely and had time for us. The only thing that people might find a problem was climbing the stairs to top floor and that there is no smoking allowed anywhere inside.
Unique Quality: Felt as though we were staying away from the city, although it's only a few minutes to walk to downtown. Very nice area of the city to stay in.
104 Euro per night for double room
Unique Quality: Friendly place.... with good traditional breakfast. Not a bad location - just about walking distance from city centre. Seemed quite expensive, but maybe everywhere in the city is.
