Centrally Located Hostel!

I really liked this place! I stayed in a ten bed dorm with two friends. We had an ensuite toilet. There was room for a shower! Cleanlieness could have been a little better (thats not the staffs fault! More structural work!) . Over all an excellent hostel, staff are very friendly and the atmosphere cosy. It gets 7/10 from me !

Unique Quality: Rgith beside everything you could want, a short walk from the town, excellent staff.

Hostelling at its Grubbiest

Okay. . .I should preface this by saying that I am NOT a hostel-type traveler. I much prefer a clean, quiet b&b, but will sometimes make an exception. It also depends a lot of who I'm traveling with.

While some travelers may find this hostel to meet their needs, we certainly did not. Jet lagged, we wanted little more than a shower and clean room and instead were greeted by exceptionally dirty bathrooms as well as a closet-sized room for which, by booking in advance, we'd paid almost double the going rate.

We left on the first bus out the next morning.

One positive thing: for a hostel in a busy city like Galway, it was surprisingly quiet at night.

Unique Quality: Don't use any Giomio.com booking service - their fees are huge and do no reflect the sort of room you'll be getting.

Galway`s best hostel

I arrived here during winter, so got stuck in the hostel for a few days. That wasn`t bad at all. As this place has a cozy warm feel about it.

Unique Quality: This hoetel is located in the heart of the city, the price includes breakfast (jam, butter, nutella, toast tea or coffee and juice) efficient internet service wirless for free, cofee & tea are served all day for free. The kitchen is super clean, has all that is needed to prepare food.
The beds are comfortable and the staff are extra NICE.
They have board games, DVDs for the guests to use. Usually people get togeather and play.Best thing is that they recycle their garbbage .....

One of the cheaper hostels in Galway

Free internet and breakfast (before 10) and good location. The bathrooms are very small and not kept very clean. Fridge is overpacked with very old food.

Price ranges depending on what day you're there...more expensive on weekends. For a 10 bed domrm you're looking anywhere from 14-20 euros per night.

Unique Quality: TV with a selection of good movies.
