Errisbeg Lodge: A Beautiful Place to Rest

This relatively new building sits at the base of Errisbeg Mountain just outside beautiful Roundstone. Our rooms were clean and pretty and our view of the mountain exceptional. There was plenty of room to park and it was easily accessible even to new visitors.

I would certainly stay here again when returning to Connemara.

Shirley King's welcoming attitude and brilliant personality make you feel right at home the moment she welcomes you at the door. Her breakfasts are wonderful and allow for guests to choose their own menu and time to eat. She's more than willing to give advice about what to see in the area and each room contains books and maps.

St. Joseph's B&B: B&B in the Heart of Roundstone

St. Joseph's has been a Bed & Breakfast premises for over 35 years. We were greeted by Christina & Seamus as if we were friends come to stay and not paying customers.

The bedrooms were quite comfortable and nicely decorated without being overdone. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, quite filling and held me over until well after midday.

One of the main benefits is that it is right in the middle of everything. We were able to leave our car in their car park and walk to restaurants, shops and pubs

You have a great view of Roundstone Harbour from their lounge area.

Gurteen and Dog Bay beaches are close by, as well

They serve evening meals at St. Joseph's, as well.

St Josephs B&B: A nice B&B in Roundstone

We spent about a week in St Josephs in 2003. During that time, couldn't really find anything to complain about; things worked fine, the suite was small but nice, comfortable and clean. No complaints about food either. All in all, a place that I have no trouble at all recommending as a place to stay in.

It's also pretty much in the middle of Roundstone, although as Roundstone is not a large village, it probably doesn't matter that much.
