We came across this hotel last year and called in without a reservation. After a drink on the terrace we asked to see a room. It was what we always expected Ireland to be. Its is full of charm with a wonderful atmosphere. The service is perfect and the staff are so nice. The interior might be a little less than chic in places but it doesn't matter. Sor close to the village of Kenmare and golf course i am not sure what else you would want. It is expensive but if i could i world go back.
The spa is divine. We did not use it as time did not allow but it looked fab and by all accounts is.
