Tranquil riverside stay
This is a very pleasant and lovely spot just on the Roughty River a short distance outside the town of Kenmare. The staff was most cordial and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean and the setting was most relaxing. The breakfast is a full Irish one so very hearty and delicious.
Unique Quality: The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the center of Kenmare and sits on the Kenmare estuary just before it goes into Kenmore bay. There are fairly large grounds and a terrace overlooking them - a great spot for a late afternoon gin and tonic.
I think I am pretty accurate on the price but we were with a group so paid less. I don't know exactly as it was included in the package price. You can get better detail at their website.
