A Hotel of our own
The Killarney Oaks Hotel is just outside of Killarney so you miss the traffic in the downtown area.
Because of this, it make a great location to do day trips to the Ring of Kerry or south towards Baltimore.
Since it was off season, we had the entire hotel almost to ourselves. We only saw 2 other couples the 3 days we were there. The room was very nice, the beds comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower.
We had breakfast each day and because how slow it was had very personal service.
The hallways were a little dark but the dark wood paneling contributed to that.
