Irish Hospitality & History
Sean O'Donoghue was such a gracious host. He welcomed us with nicely furnished rooms and great breakfasts, then educated us with tales that occurred on the property his family has owned for more than 300 years. It was very helpful to get his suggestions on where to visit in the short time we had in the area. We would highly recommend that, if you only have three or four days to spend in Ireland, fly to Shannon or Cork and stay at the Salmon Leap Farm. It is an hour or less drive to some of the most beautiful sites and interesting history in Ireland. Definitely our favorite "corner" of the country.
