 | Two Mile Inn Limerick: Good Irish Breakfast!

I stayed here on a University trip in 1997, so my impressions are probably a little out of date now! It's a very modern hotel, so if you're looking for something olde-worlde, it won't be for you, but the facilities are very good indeed. All the rooms seemed to be on the ground floor, so good for anybody with mobility issues, although it does make for some long corridors. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious, with an ensuite bathroom (wonderful showers!). There's a capacious restaurant, which when I stayed there did very good food indeed - Irish breakfasts (pretty much the same as a full English with one or two extras), and superb dinners. The only quibble we had was that the wait between the courses was quite long. They can even put up packed lunches for you if you are taking a group sightseeing. The bar seemed like a pleasant place to relax and have a few drinks. It's conveniently located just outside Limerick, on the Limerick/Clare border, so handy for visiting Bunratty Castle and the Burren district.
