Western Strands Hotel Belmullet: A slice of an older Ireland

The Western Strands Hotel is small and cosy and located in the centre of Belmullet town. Reception area is a bit of a mess (you walk past a pub to get to it) but the rooms are fine if small and the staff are friendly. The Hotel restaurant is supposed to be the best place to eat in Belmullet.

The Foxford Lodge: Hospitality at its finest

For our weekend we (all 12 of us) were put in 2 lovely self catering houses just 2 minutes walk from the main BnB house.The BnB is beautiful too.
The family that run it are the best best hosts.
See things to do for more about this place.

Unique Quality: All the activities on offer, fishing, golf, art, murder mystery etc.
Fantastic breakfast menu

Seavilla, Lecanvey, Co. Mayo: The friendliest host in Ireland

Unique Quality: The warmest welcome we received on our whole trip. Our host told us many stories of the area, borrowed us his sticks to climb Croagh Patrick and served a great breakfast!
Our room (which unfortunately was cold and wet) had a lovely view of Clew Bay.
