Broadhaven Bay Hotel: New hotel on the outskirts of town
Nice hotel which has recently opened and seems to be doing good business. Didn't actually stay but ate here and found the food very pleasant.

The Western Strands Hotel is small and cosy and located in the centre of Belmullet town. Reception area is a bit of a mess (you walk past a pub to get to it) but the rooms are fine if small and the staff are friendly. The Hotel restaurant is supposed to be the best place to eat in Belmullet.
Restaurant and friednly staff

This comfortable modern hotel is popular with anglers. The bar food is great and the atmosphere convivial.
Nice Bar
This cottage was simple gorgeous. And the pictures from the site we booked form do it no justice. Its 10 times better.
old, thatched, snuggly
For our weekend we (all 12 of us) were put in 2 lovely self catering houses just 2 minutes walk from the main BnB house. The BnB is beautiful too.
The family that run it are the best best hosts.
See things to do for more about this place.
All the activities on offer, fishing, golf, art, murder mystery etc.
Fantastic breakfast menu

The warmest welcome we received on our whole trip. Our host told us many stories of the area, borrowed us his sticks to climb Croagh Patrick and served a great breakfast!
Our room (which unfortunately was cold and wet) had a lovely view of Clew Bay.

Q: Climbing Croagh Patrick 15th August 2009 "Hi, we are thinking of climbing the reek on Saturday 15th August & I've been told that 15th August is the date the Travelling..."
A: "Ivan find no fixed date for the travelling community (as opposed to the annual pilgrimage, which is the last Sunday in July). You might like to email Croagh Patrick..."
