this all are located in the Old Farm Yard buildings at WESTPORT HOUSE & COUNTRY PARK in WESTPORT.

These buildings really must constitute one of the biggest set of Farm Buildings in Ireland and were constructed in the early 19th Century for the estate farm where there were granaries, laundries and stables.

WESTPORT lies on an arm of CLEW BAY a superb expanse of island-dotted sea framed by MOUNTAIN RANGES.

This really is a unique town in that it was designed to the plan of JAMES WYATT, the well-known architect of the GEORGIAN PERIOD.

The Mall, with its lime trees lining both sides of the CARROWBEG RIVER is a very charming thoroughfare.....

Westport is situated near CROAGH PATRICK , Ireland's most famous mountain and on the shores of Clew Bay, as I told you above...

Its old world harbour once was a thriving port serving the County of Mayo.
Westport is very different in design from any other Irish town!!
A visit to this nice town will confirm its uniqueness and I have to agree....walked through town and enjoyed my stay there.....
