Ardmore Guest House: Good B&B in the Town Center
Why would one look for a hotel in Ballybay, Co. Monaghan?
Well, our reason was that we were traveling from Dublin to the North, and needed a stopover for the night.
The other guests were a group of amateur fishermen who got up early in the morning and went with all their gear to the nearby lakes. There's good fishing there, we were told, an "anglers' paradise".
The B&B has a warm atmosphere, is nicely furnished, our room was good and comfortable, the landlord was friendly, even the dog in the back yard was friendly. The Irish breakfast was tasty. Whay else do you need?!
