Cashel Holiday Hostel is located in the centre of Cashel and offers good quality budget accomodation. The hostel is cheap and offers good quality single, double and family rooms at reasonable prices.
the bailey hotel is located on main street in central cashel. the bailey has recently been renovated. the rooms are modern and spacious. the hotel offers a restaurant and a swiming pool. this is a very nice hotel in the center of cashel.
there are three hotel options in downtown cashel. the kearney castle hotel is located in part of a ruined 12th century castle. the kearney castle hotel is on main street across the street from the tourist office in the center of cashel. the rooms are small and the furnishings spartan but it is the least expensive of cashel's hotel. if you are on a budget i would recommend it.
Small charming home used as a b&b. Wonderful owner and nice accomodations with the exception of the very hard bed. You could view the Rock of Cashel from the window and very close to the center of town.
It is what it is. A bed and breakfast in a great location with the best view of the Rock of Cashel around. The picture included was from inside the room-quite the romantic setting! Everything about this stay was easy. I made the reservation online about a month or so before leaving the US and had no problems with the booking upon arrival. Getting there was also easy from Dublin. Buses depart from Busaras (Dublin's main bus station) often and drop you off a short walk from the B&B.
The best thing about the Ladyswell House is the view, and in Cashel thats what you came for. The staff was very friendly all the way down the line, from the owner to the housekeeper. Any questions you may have are answered on the website including pricing, directions from major cities, and things to do in the area.
The breakfast is nothing but quality. In an open room setting you are fed pretty much whatever you desire including eggs, sausage, bacon, bread, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, milk.
You could probably skip lunch on the days you stay here (or at least get by with just a little snack).
Absolutely loved this hostel. My kind of place. The hosts were wonderful and the entire hostel was inviting. Clean, spacious, homey, and comfortable. The host even made me a fire in the common room one night because it was chilly and I was reading. Large kitchen with cool “round table” that encourages conversations between the guests, and comfortable beds. Right in the center of town and about a five minute walk to the abbey. The bus stops almost right in front of the hostel.
This hotel (which is much more like a B&B) is located in a castle tower, which looks very impressive from the outside. It was an affordable way for us to stay in a castle, without having to pay for 5 star accomodation!
We stayed at the top of the tower. The rooms were pretty standard, but the reception was very nice and it was conveniently located in the centre of town.
The room was very spacious, with high ceilings, and a nice view. A little cold though! (Added to the castle ambiance!)
