Canoeing and Kayaking is becoming more popular in Dungarvan every year. Good locations for canoeing are the Colligan river, Dungarvan Bay and the Gold Coast Pier. You can rent kayaks during the summer from the Gold Coast Pier in Ballinacourty.
Another good kayaking location is Ardmore, 15Km from Dungarvan where you can kayak out to a ship wreck. You can rent Kayaks during the summer season at the Gold Coast Pier
Worth a stop for a few minutes at least to think about the harsh reality of Ireland's past, and how it affected not only her own future generations, but those as well of many other nations.
Located only a few km outside of Dungarvan Town, on the Cork road. Look for signs, it's located next to the pub "An Seanachai".
A town that has experiened enormous changes in a relatively short space of time. Building has maybe gone a little to crazy.......beautiful seaside market town - second biggest town in county Waterford.
Great place for chilling out - activities fishing (shore/sea/river), walking, water sports. Lots of beaches. Plenty to do & see.
