Heron Cottage - Kilmore Quay: Self-Catering in Ireland

Ireland is so dense with historical attractions and phenomenal viewpoints (and so small), we think a cottage rental is a great way to get to know a town really well and is far more comfortable than a hotel. We stayed in Kilmore Quay, a very out of the way fishing village that is the southeast-most point in Ireland. A very charming village with two pubs and a great fish and chips take away! The website below has a wealth of self-catering accomodations in every county in Ireland.

Cost efficient, private, more relaxing than a hotel.
