    We stayed at the Viking House...

    We stayed at the Viking House in Waterford. The Lonely Planet guide book warns 'If you arrive and find the Viking House full or closed, women in particular should check at the tourist office before booking any other hostel' That was a good enough reason for us to book there! It actually was a very pleasant place to stay. Very friendly staff; nice, comfortable room;central location.

    Directions: Coffee House Lane, tucked behind the quayside in the Old Quarter
