The impressive Cathedral of Christ the King is referred to on the 'must see' list.

I found the list of priests in the entrance atrium rather interesting. The list occasionally just reads 'vicars', a somewhat polite way of saying that the town became 'protestant' at those times. The list thus neatly reflects the changing fortunes of English history as moved from being a Catholic country to a protestant one, and back again several times.
