Another time, en famille, we stayed in Carne Caravan park, which is totally out of the way from anywhere, it's way down Irelands most south-easterly point.
Absolutely great beach nearby with playground, shop and bar on-site.
Nice big rooms with TV and en-suites. We were only there for the night but I would stay there again. Beds are huge!
No Reception, you have to go in through the bar and breakfast is in the bar function room.
Abbey House is a quaint Bed and Breakfast in downtown Wexford with 9 rooms. As soon as we walked in the door Georgina and her hursband welcomed us with the finest Irish hospitality I think anyone would give, She gave us choice of rooms. The hosts made us feel at home and was very generous about town information etc.
Coffee and tea was in the room
the room was also ensuite (toilet in room)
Breakfast was served from 7:30am to 10am and we were asked what we wanted to eat and breakfast was made to order and MMMMMMMMMM was it great!!
Eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, toast and the best Pourage Mama bear would be proud of.
Abbey house's location was perfect (Downtown center) everything was within walking distance, (shopping, pubs, train station, food)
