GLENDALOUGH' this a very beautiful aim to travel! Here you can hike through the forests and mountains and you can see a beautiful waterfall! And before you do that you can make an organized trip through the place Glendalough where you see old ruins and a lot of celtic crosses - it´s a very historic place!

POWERSCOURT GARDEN.
It´s a nice old castle with a beautiful parc around. You have the possibility to make the big tour (one hour) or the little tour (1/2 hour) through the parc. You will see a tower, the Jananese Garden, the Animal Cemetry...
After visiting Powerscourt Garden you can make a trip too a beautiful WATERFALL (it should be the biggest one in Ireland...)! You can take the shuttle bus or you can hike! ( but to hike -like me- can be dangerous because of the lot´s of cars on the street and it´s only this possibilty to hike to the waterfall)

Enniskerry

by Ruai

The pretty village of Enniskerry has become rather urbanised but is still a pleasant pitstop, with a couple of pubs, some arts and crafts shops and a good coffee shop. It featured in the first Irish film (Irish Destiny, made in 1926 and recently re-issued) and has long been a popular day-trip from Dublin. The 185 (to Bray train station) and 44 (to Dublin) are the public transport options to get there.

Powerscourt Estate is the Wicklows is a magnificent manor house and gardens. The formal gardens are among the finest in Ireland.
My husband and I visited in 1999 on a very rainy day...not just a light mist, but heavy rains accompanied us as we traversed the Wicklows. It was the only day we had to spend in the area, and I love gardens, so decked in raingear, we had the gardens to ourselves!
