grand hotel monte silvano: nice beach hotel
i stayed in monte silvano and made excoursions up the mountains from there.
monte silvano has a nice beach but is apart from that a pretty boring town when you compare it to the stunning countryside of abruzzo.
grand hotel monte silvano is a farly nice hotel with very good rooms and most rooms have seaview.
the location right on the beach makes it a good option for families.
i found that the food was a little drap when you consider the price of the hotel and what the italians are generally capable of producing in a kitchen.
all in all staying there was a good experience though.
