Marble and oak splendour
A single night stay late September 2001, as Pescara was running down the shutters & going into hibernation until the Spring.
Nice balconies, overlookng the sea if you get the right room. Older style, but highly stylized on the inside, still all mod cons in the rooms which are larger than average. Breakfast, at the time, was relatively poor - I cannot go UHT long life milk! Don't know if they''ve improved on that since. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
Unique Quality: This was our first choice to return to, but was pricey and could not take our booking midweek to midweek as the Italian holiday starts from 15 August which fell on the weekend. Think we paid GBP £65 in 2001.
