"Belgirate"
Take a boat across to the Borremeo sp? islands, visit a beautiful historic mansion. It was interesting seeing the grotto underneath this mansion with all the original horse trappings and armor. The train station here is where you jump on to one of the most beautiful train rides. We were on our way to crowded Interlaken but this scenic train ride went past rivers and mts and villages that gave you a true feel for Switzerland. Back to Belgirate.....After a dinner of what we thought was ground beef in gravy we were informed by our host we had just had donkey meat...I was horrified! Apparently they raise donkeys for just this purpose.
