This pretty and picturesque town with medieval origin attracts with buildings and narrow lanes sloping down towards the sea. It is a popular seaside resort with wonderful cliffs.
There is a grot north of Pizzo, named "Piedigrotta" near this town. It is not allowed to use flash light in there but without it does not make sense to photograph. You can see a pic of the grot here. I took this photo from following webpage: http://www.calabriadamare.it/
I do not know Italian but as far as I understood the grot was once used as a church before it was flooded by the sea. In the meanwhile the water has withdrawn and you can enter.

Other interesting , original and to wear "souvenirs" are made from a best goldsmith of the jasmine coast named Guarnieri, that have make the original jewellery hause :"Artigiana Gioielli" , in Caulonia.
