Tropea is situated in Vibo Valentia's province, on a cliff 70 metres high falling over a wonderful jagged coast with white sandy shores; It has a geographic position that distinguishes it from so many italian and english resorts. This position gave her so many epiteths such has the Capital of the Holidays, the Pearl of Tirreno, and the Queen of Italo Coast. if you take a view from one of the so many balcons of this village, the scenery is breathtaking.
Tropea belongs to the province of Reggio Calabria. You can reach Tropea if you come from: south, on the way from Nicotera; west, from Vibo Valentia. The nearest railway station is situated on the hills of Pizzo Calabro.
