Old Moorish Castle
Full of history and by far the most remarkable hotel on the coast. Plenty of cool places to explore on the grounds. Very imposing structure. WONDERFUL views. Breathtaking sunsets.
Meals delicious. One of the only hotels on the strip with a beach. Nice walk to the small town of Amalfi. Room was furnished with antique furniture. The first hotel I ever stayed at in Europe - highly recommend it.

Hotel in the Rocks
My favourite hotel just a short walk away from the town of Amalfi. This hotel starts at the top and ends at the beach at the bottom of a cliff (dont worry there are lifts).
Its built in the old moorish style and is a wonder to explore in itself.
Food is good, accomodation great, some rooms have stunning views across the bay.
Unique Quality: Loads of nooks and crannies! and you will come across the odd morrish warrior in metal.
