Historic Amalfi Hotel
The hotel is a former duke's residence, and nicely maintained. The breakfast was typical for Italy, and the staff are very nice.
It is very accessible for those arriving by bus or ferry, as it is just above the coast road.
For those arriving by car, you will need to park temporarily in the main parking turnaround and call for someone to come and park your car up the hill. There is a bit of a hike up to the hotel, with lots of steps. Great dining and lots of shopping is close by.
Unique Quality: Our room had a terrific view over the ocean, and was beautifully furnished.
