Costantinopoli 104

Named after its address (number 104 on Santa Maria in Constantinopoli) Constantinopoli 104 is a luxury boutique hotel that offers an oasis of calm right in the heart of chaotic Spaccanapoli. The hotel has an odd placement in the courtyard and garden of a historic palace and was probably originally built as a pavilion for the palace, but it is this odd location that provides the hotel with the calm and serenity away from the busy streets of the historic centre of Naples. Much like most of this old city, the hotel could use a bit of an update, but the room was nevertheless in a great condition and was quite comfortable. Rooms in the main building tend to be duplexes, with the bed and bathroom upstairs, while a sitting area is down below. Other rooms, which are accessible from the garden, seemed to be on one level. For a first time visitor to Naples, the location could not be better: close to the Archaeological Museum in the heart of the historic centre.
