This is an unusal place, It's advertised as a bed & breakfast but it isn't the residence of the owner. The location is ideal very close to the historic district. If you enjoy bed & breakfast then I'd look elsewhere. If you want a hotel then I'd look elsewhere as the residence Firorentini is neither of these. Anyway about that breakfast, we stayed three nights on two mornings the coffee was undrinkable, it being made unfiltered in a jug and not hot. When poured it was full of swimming grounds. On the best day we were offered drinkable coffee, weak OJ, a filled croissant, toastini and jam. That's standard breakfast at the fiorentini. No fruit, meat, cheese, bread or cereal. On the worst day it was the same but without the croissants, we complained and they went out to get the croissants. The toastini in case you don't know it, is 2 pieces of crisped toast about 3 inches (8 cms) square in a plastic wrapper.o
To finish on a positive ... the owner was very knowledgeable about Naples and the room was clean.
Unique Quality: The superior room has a view of the street, the standard room has no view at all.
