The rooms were beautifully decorated with cool marble floors (ideal in the heat of the August sun). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (when my mum was missing from the evening meal they prepared something light for hear because she wasn't feeling too well).
Unique Quality: The quality and quantity of the food was amazing. I have to admit that this is the best hotel food I have EVER tasted. no onther hotel has lived up to this standard (or got anywhere near). The hotel itself is made up of lots of little bungalows perched on the hillside. There are spectacular views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius (unless it is lost in the heat haze).
Directions: Vico Equense beyond Naples in the direction of Sorrento.
