Travel from Napoli Capodichino airport to Salerno
Travel from Napoli Capodichino airport to Salerno in Sep 2007.
Our flight arrives to Capodichino airport at 11am on Sunday. Direct SITA bus from Napoli airport to Salerno departs at 10am, next at 6pm (8 hrs gap). Luggage makes travel to railway station a bit awkward.
Are there any direct buses from Capodichino airport to Salerno between 11am and 5 pm on Sundays?
Does airport have Luggage storage? How much does it cost?
Without Luggage we could use 8 hrs for some sightseeing in Naples.
How much does taxi to Salerno cost?
Any views on hotel Olimpico near Salerno?

Re: Travel from Napoli Capodichino airport to Salerno
Don't know for sure but you might wish to take a ferry or hydrofoil from Naples to Sorrento and another from Sorrento to Salerno. Might actually be quicker than the train.
