One of the narrow streets of Salerno
Hello all,
Does anyone know a place online to access a free map of the city of Salerno with major monuments and street names?
I would be ever so pleased to find one!

See http://www.comune.salerno.it/la_salerno_turistica/default_en.asp but you may need to be able to read Italian...
When you click on "Maps", you'll get a list in Italian. Click on "Siti storici e culturali" (historic and cultural sites), then click "Visualizza mappa" (display map). You'll see a city map with icons for historic and cultural sites - move your cursor over them and the anme of the site will be displayed (in Italian).

Thanks so much for the direction... my non-existent italian was probably the cause of my not being able to find a decent map (I kept searching in more familiar languages). The one you led me to is quite helpful.

When I was there it rained everyday, but the temperature was pretty mild, about 15 Celsius.
Here is a view of the coast (seaside cover yet by the sea) and the"Lungomare", almost where they start, at the center of the city.
