Tra Pozzuoli e Gaeta
"~*forest by the sea*~"
Whenever I mention that I lived in Castel Volturno, most people ask, "Where IS that?" So, the best way to describe it would be to say that it is outside of Napoli, between Pozzuoli and Gaeta. It is town located right on the river Volturno and is home to about 25,000 people. I also lived right across the street from the seaside! That's right... palm trees, lemon trees, a balcony... In the beginning it seemed like paradise. But all good things are usually too good to be true, or must come to an end, right? Anyway, it was here that I discovered mozzarella di bufala and how tasty it becomes when it is made "alla francese"... and also about scamorza, pear juice, brioche, melanzane, Barilla, and much, much more. Although the area tends to be a bit run-down, the friends that I made there will be forever treasured in my heart.
